HAIR prep

  • Wash your hair the night before the wedding please shampoo your hair twice preferably with a clarifying shampoo to remove and oil or build up. I will link down below my favorites. Only condition mids to ends not the roots.

  • Blow dry your hair completely the night before. Do not let it air dry because the hair can become oily or frizzy making it harder to style. Make sure your bridesmaids come with completely dry hair as well. I will send them off to dry it themselves and if we have time later I will style them. Blow drying wet hair takes up a lot of time that we do not have.

  • When blow drying, part your hair where you would like me to style it otherwise the hair may not corporate they way we want it to.

  • Do not tie your hair in a tight pony tail just a loose scrunchie at the nape of your neck if you need to tie it back. This way it does not crease or flatten your hair.

  • 80% of the hairstyles to choose from require a haircut with some sort of layers. When the hair hasn’t been trimmed in a long time it causes it to be heavy and unstable-able.

  • If your inspo is something really full and voluminous (updo or down style) more than likely you will need to get clip in extensions to get close to the inspo. Get the extensions you won’t regret it!

  • If you have naturally curly hair and don’t plan on using your natural curl pattern please blow out your hair before unless we talked about doing a blow out morning of !

Extension grooming

  • WASH them no later than 2 days prior to appointment. They come with a protective seal that HAS to be washed off before styling. 2 days prior because they need to be completely dry before hand

  • When shopping for extensions make sure you get a high gram of hair otherwise the style will still not look full

  • I highly suggest bellami (https://www.bellamihair.com) extensions just make sure you are looking at the grams and hair color.

  • Please buy them with enough time in advance incase they are the wrong color and you need to exchange/return
