Skincare

  • Hydrate your skin with masks, moisturizers, and facials leading up to your wedding day. The makeup will only look as good as your skin. As long as you take care of your skin leading up it will turn out flawless. I highly recommend Alexa Malkasian as an esthetician. Alexa is a licensed esthetician with 6 years of experience in holistic, minimally invasive, and performance-driven skincare. https://www.skinkinfacialstudio.com

  • Exfoliate your skin with a mild exfoliation weekly but definitely the night before your trial and wedding day. I also highly suggest getting a hydra facial or microdermabrasion as exfoliation once a month.

  • Please no retinal or trenoid the week leading up to the wedding as this can cause peeling under the makeup.

  • Avoid trying new skincare 2 weeks before the wedding incase you have a bad reaction.

  • If you are getting botox or filler no later than 2 weeks before the wedding so it has time to settle in and incase of any bruising. I have a doctor I work with so if you and your bridal group (3 or more) would like botox I have a special of $9 a unit.

grooming

  • Facial hair removal is a must. If you do not remove the facial hair it will show up and be noticeable with makeup on. Also, the makeup will look patchy and caked if it’s sitting on top of hair. I highly recommend doing Dermaplaning it not only exfoliates but it removes the peach fuzz as well. If you do decide to do it please no later than 4 days prior to the wedding day and try it out first a couple months before the wedding to make sure your skin doesn’t get irritated.

  • Groom brows with either waxing, threading, or tweezing. Also shaping your brows can change the whole makeup look for the better!

  • No self tanner on the face, body only. Self tanner can dry out the skin making it look patchy and uneven.
